Having a great summer this year going to Florida and getting our Beach fix were back. Plan on a long winter enjoying our Country Roads Winter Nest! Meeting new and old friends! Getting in early has it's perks. Light traffic and no crowd's in the stores. This Year we have a new Fry's super market the size of a small Wallmart around 100,000 square feet and a 5 guy's burger. We favor our In and out Burger. Hoping reading our slower laid back life will inspire you to do the same! I Plan on keeping
Were back in Yuma title till we hit the road sometime next year! Hoping all our snowbird friends arrive safely soon to the cooler south. Life is Good!

We Stayed in New Iberia LA. Two Nights and Toured the Tabasco Factory in Avery Island LA.

Staying about 21 Miles Away at a Enjoy America Campground near Avery Island La. is the Tabasco Factory tour. When you get to Avery Island there is a one dollar Toll! The fellow in the Tool Booth uses a broom stick to take your dollar. Due to the heat we did not do the Jungle Gardens. This Sign is outside the Door where the tour starts. This has been on the bucket list since we started full timing back in 1995.

During the tour you learn a lot of the making of the Products in the Tabasco family! There are a few interactive spots you can test your pepper knowledge! The young lady that gave the tour was born there with a neat accent! I would suggest never have been here to do so!

A Protected pepper plant! The peppers are picked by the red color. Pepper pickers use a colored red stick to match the perfect pepper. Pickers live on the island and are paid by the pound for picking. They get low cost housing and are treated like family. Peppers are only around an inch by around three eights on an inch Dia. Green then Yellow then red as they mature. The real Peppers are grown else ware in the tropics. Avery Island Mc Ilhenny seeds are shipped there.

The Oak barrel to the left comes from places like Jack Daniel's distillery and are used to store the Avery Island salted crushed pepper mash for three years. Nothing is wasted. Avery Island has the largest salt mine in America. The Cargel plant loads salt on to a barge's for export! The pepper mash is sent to plants that make it into things like tooth paste,Soap, and Byproducts! The old used oak barrels are broken up and sold a wood Chip's for BB Q'S Being at one time in the generator Biz. I was amazed on the number on Larger Onan Generators on site. The make over 750,000 bottles a day of various sizes!

After the Tour you go to the Tabasco Country Store! Drained my wallet here! You can get a small lunch here also. The young lady's in the store have free samples and Tabasco Flavored Ice Cream. I'm blessed to have made it here. BTW The jobs here are strong. We saw several Help Wanted sign's on the road here. Haliburton the service to the federal government has a place here and employs many folks along with the strong Oil and Gas Industry. We each had Poor Boy's for lunch nearby and all I can say if your here like us for a day its a must do! Poor Boy's are like a Sub on soft french Bread! You can have the made up any way! Bea had Fish and I had Smoked Sausage Poor Boy! Go to Tabasco.com for more Info. You can order a free Catalog there. Always stop at visitor centers as you gain lots of Knowledge and Eatery's in the area!

This Place is Called Marten's Seafood House in Flagler on AIA. They have a rather Large Prime Rib Dinner. Lynn to the right will share with Becky and they had a lot to take home. Bea and I shared our plate to the front left. The neat thing is for 2.50 you share with two sides. The Owner came over to our table and what a friendly Guy! This place is a must to eat in. Its on the Ocean across the street on AIA.

On the way back to our rigs we stopped at state park in Flagler and this is the Biggest Oak tree in Florida! Note I had to walk back past Lynn's car for this shot! The park is near Beulow Plantation, Just follow the sign's.

Daytona Pig Stand at Dest, Daytona next to our Park in Ormand. This is a huge Radio and it Work's. They feed Hungry Harley Bicker's during Daytona Bike Week. We had lunch here and was good! You order up front and they bring it to your table.

This is where we go to the Beach here in Ormond. Off A1A across from dollar general. Free Parking and showers and so far free.

Turns out the Last Owner of our coach put on mismatched tires and Dates! The inside tire was an 03! All the other Tires are mid 05's Had both tires replaced with new Goodyear's.

Met Jerry and Madeline in Kerrville TX. City Park. Boon docked at Wall Mart that night.

This is our home C2C Park in Pas Christian in Mississippi. Few miles from the beach.

Stopped in Jacksonville Moose for the night and Gayle came over for a visit.

Stayed a week in Cocoa Beach Florida. Cathy and John parked next to us and stayed a few nights.

Colorado to Yuma

This is one of our Favorite Burrito Places Chipoltle's. This one is just outside Garden of the God's Park in Colorado Springs.

I'm in Heaven.

Show Low Arizona Elk's Lodge. Some 20 sites with Full hookups and 50 Amp. At this time you can stay a month for $400.00. Your in the cool pine trees.

Just north of Show Low about 10 miles is Juniper Ridge R.V. Resort. You own your Lot. Lots start in the low 30's. There is a Golf Course, Tennis and Pickleball and nightly activities. A great place for the summer months in northern Arizona.

We stayed in Verde Vally AZ. This is Tuzigoot an old Indian Homestead from years gone By.

Not far from Verde Vally is Jerome a once upon a time Mining Town. Bea and I did not eat here but many friends of ours have. Were told the best Burgers in town and you dress them up your way!

Jerome AZ. has a lot of Mining history. In the Fall it's a great getaway from the hotter desert floor. We saw lots of Motorcycle Riders passing through.

Bea's Friend Marilyn has a summer place here in Prescott AZ. Marilyn and Bea.

Our Rig at Sedona Elk's Lodge. They have some 10 or so sites. Water and 15/30 Amp electric at sites. Power is Bad in the fall. When temps rise power falls below 105 volts. Night is OK. No Dump at Lodge but some 30 miles to the south in Verde Vally is a Thousand Trails and a C2C Park we stayed at that has a dump. The Verde Vally C2C also has bad Power but a nice heated pool and hot tub. They tell me in the winter you cant get a site here.

Made it to Yuma! Lunch with our Canadian friend's Donna and Roger at Julianna's. Donna and Bea's Birthday's are a few days apart. This is one of the Best places to eat in Yuma. Our waiter is a SKP and he and his wife winter in KOFA SKP park. He is an Awesome Waiter. Donna,Bea and Roger.

We were on a partial with good 30 Amp. Water and Dump less then 100 feet from rig. 10$ per night at this time. The view of the rig's upper are on full hookups with 50 Amp. Most stay all summer.
